About Us

At Swimm, our mission is to help engineering teams radically improve their knowledge of the code through continuous and auto-synced documentation. With Swimm, Continuous Documentation becomes an integral part of the development lifecycle, making it a must for organizations that need to scale fast while maintaining the knowledge on their codebase. Swimm’s platform allows engineers to build documentation that includes “live” snippets and tokens from the codebase that auto-sync every time the code changes.

In November 2021, Swimm launched its free open beta and announced a $27.6 million Series A funding round. Our R&D team is rapidly growing - we work in squads, do sprints, and drink a ton of coffee.

A glimpse into what you will be doing:

  • Inspire, mentor, and lead a team with a professional, fun, and collaborative culture. 
  • Hire and train team members to support the team’s growth.
  • Drive engineering processes to produce a roadmap with a focus on quality and time to market.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with other teams. 

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of at least 5 developers, building and maintaining SaaS applications at scale in production. 
  • 3+ years of frontend software development experience in either React, Vue or AngularJS.
  • 3+ years of backend software development experience, preferably in NodeJS.
  • Creative problem-solver with great communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and can-do attitude.
